Travel Story
India is a country in southeast asia. Before it was named as India , it was being called as Bharath. India has 28 states in total with different cultures and religions. Every state has it's unique food. Ex:Mysore Pak for mysore, Dharwad Peda for Dharwad and Bisibelebath,Dose and Idli for Karntaka. Pongal for Tamil Nadu etc. Rajasthan is one of the states in India, which is largest by area. This state includes various famous things ,from Bandhani sarees to road side Kachori . We started from Udaipur The city of lakes, as our flight from Bengluru landed Udaipur ,I was very excited to explore the city of lakes. Checked in the hotel and had a quick freshup and a stomach filling breakfast and left to explore the city in a sunny day. Usually the state itself is known for hot weather. At first we drove to The City Palace surrounded with lakes, which gave a different vibe. There will be a boat ride from one end to other every 20 mins, until it gets filled the boat is not moved. The tiny shops there sells light snacks, famous food and also keychains, also surprisingly there is a restaurant which offers a plate of Thali(All foods included). Recommend to carry sunscreen, cap and cooling glass to protect yourself from sun. Also visited scenic lake, and the famous Jag Mandir Palace. And got a chance to watch the puppet show and the local dance of Rajasthan. It was amazing. Traveled to Jaipur through train, which takes approximately 8-10hrs.Left Udaipur around 9:30PM and reached by 7:30AM in the morning. Jaipur is known as Pink city of Rajasthan. Reached Jaipur by early morning ,freshed up and proceeded to Amber Fort, which had historic weapons and kings living place with a royal treatment. Heard the historic stories and happens from the guide, which made us curious and even interesting. In the neighbour ,there is a place called Jantar Mantar, where ancient people used to calculate time, map planetary movements and study celestial bodies. Next went to City palace and explored it by just watching from outside. Lastly went to the famous place Hawa Mahal, but the main thing here is, if u need to look exactly from front ,you need to visit a cafe right opposite to Hawa Mahal which costs Rs.500 per person. You get a awesome view and great photos also have a great time with your people! Got back to room and flewed back to Bengaluru. Overall it is a great place to visit and explore!
